EXGF - "We Are The Hearts"
“We Are The Hearts” starts off innocently enough, with chopped up vocals and some pretty tame guitar and percussion. Soon thereafter the energy of the song starts increasing, building itself up until it hits the chorus and it feels like I am listening to the kind of song movies use to amp up the protagonist(s). You know the one I mean. The track is the product of EXGF, a relatively new group out of LA (this is only their second release), and if its goal was indeed to pump me up, it has done a damn good job. I'm ready to go.
