1ST VOWS - "Kimono"

Upbeat modern R&B music sometimes feels like a contradiction. When I think of R&B (or at least in recent time) I think of dark and brooding. That's not to say that you can't have an R&B song that doesn't pop, but it's definitely more niche than the alternative. Saying this, I'm loving "Kimono", the newest single from 1ST VOWS. The song is, for all intents and purposes, an R&B song, but one that has a spark to it - one playing just below the surface waiting to ignite. This song is vibrant and crackling, thanks in no small part to Ryan Hunter's pointed vocals that amplify the light production while also maintaining that smoothness that is key to a memorable R&B track. You'll love this song instantaneously.
