Geographer - "The Guest"

Geographer has just released their third full-length album, Ghost Modern, and the latest single from it is exactly why I am unabashedly in love with this band. "The Guest" represents everything that makes Geographer great. Sticking with traditional instrumentation, every component is perfectly balanced, from the delicate strings to the triumphant horns to something as simple as the restrained cymbals. On top of it all, Michael Deni's vocals still manage to pierce through and shine. With this band, the sum is oh so much greater than the parts.
