Set Mo - "White Dress" (ft. Deutsch Duke)
I just love hitting the "shuffle" button as sometimes it turns up some real gems you had forgotten about. Case in point: Set Mo's “White Dress”. It wasn't actually that long ago that I first heard this song (a few weeks, maybe?), and I clearly had liked it the first time around (I wouldn't have saved it to my SoundCloud had I not) but for whatever reason I didn't write anything about it. This morning it came on while I was out running errands and man did I ever love it. Written by the Aussie duo after they spent some time in Ibiza and recorded with the help of Deutsch Duke, they wanted a song to capture the feeling of the never-ending summer. I think they nailed it. With the sun shinning and the weather warming up, it could not feel more appropriate. Plus there's a sax solo at the end. Ooooh yes.
