Chet Faker - "1998" (feat. Banks)

I'm going to call this one a "remix" in the loosest sense of the word. Or at least, it's not a remix in the sense that an artist has come along and altered the core production of the track. Instead, the song remains almost unchained save for the addition of vocals from another artist. I'm a big fan of this, since the original song in question is Chet Faker's incredible "1998", and the additional vocals are courtesy of the extremely talented BANKS. Don't get me wrong, the song has been modified from the original (it's much shorter, among other things), but beyond that what we have been given is essentially a Chet Faker-created track that features BANKS vocals. That is a match made in heaven, and I hope that these two collaborate again in the future on some original material. I would also accept the two of them touring together.
