Sylvan Esso - "Kick Jump Twist"

I still remembered being floored when I first heard Sylvan Esso's debut single, "Hey Mami", way back in 2013. Ever since then, I've been an avid listener of the North Carolina duo, so I was thrilled on Friday when they released their latest single "Kick Jump Twist" from their upcoming sophomore album. Much like "Hey Mami", this song starts with Amelia Meath's toned and tempered vocals over minimal production, but quickly launches into a bubbly track with a heavy beat that will kick your energy levels up as soon as you hear it. 

Sylvan Esso's as yet unnamed sophomore album is due out sometime in 2017.
