Seramic - "Trying"
We have written about Seramic before, extolling the UK artists' unique and contemporary take on soul music. But just because he creates modern soul music doesn't mean he doesn't know how to throw back, which is just what he does on "Trying". Taken from his latest EP, I Got You, "Trying" is as soulful as you can get, gradually building in strength with backup vocals and an increasingly powerful production before cutting out entirely. It is great.
