Wet - "Deadwater"

It has been over a year since I first heard New York's Wet, and in that time I have only grown to appreciate them more. I had the pleasure of seeing them open for SOHN last November where they absolutely killed it (and made a lot of new fans) despite Kelly Zutrau being a little under the weather. Since then we hadn't heard much from the group until earlier this week when they suddenly announced that their debut album, Don't You, is on its way. As an added bonus they also gave us the first single from it, “Deadwater”, a somber yet fresh and clean track that once again highlights Zutrau's whimsical voice.
