BANKS - "Better"

While it hasn't been too long since BANKS released her debut album (one that still makes the rotation every so often), that hasn't stopped her from creating some new music. "Better" is the first track from the yet-to-be-named (or even formally announced) sophomore album, and good heavens is it good. In it we hear an emotionally raw BANKS sing "I can love you better than she can" over top of a dark and powerful production that ends surprisingly light. With no real idea of when the new album is out (apart from her saying it will be "early, early next year"), this will have to hold us over.
